Article Processing Charge (APC)

At Solarlits, we are committed to making high-quality research widely accessible. We firmly believe that financial constraints should never become a barrier to sharing impactful scientific discoveries with the global community.

To support our diverse network of researchers, we have designed an equitable, transparent, and author-friendly APC policy.

Current Policy: Submissions Before January 1, 2027

Currently, a full waiver is applied to all submissions. Any manuscript submitted prior to January 1, 2027, will be processed and published completely free of charge, regardless of the author's funding status.

Upcoming Policy: Effective January 1, 2027

Starting at the beginning of 2027, we will transition to a new APC structure. This model allows us to sustainably maintain the highest standards of open-access publishing while continuing our commitment to authors who lack financial backing.

The following structure will apply to all accepted manuscripts submitted on or after January 1, 2027:

Submission Procedure and Automatic Waivers

We strive to guarantee a smooth and equitable publishing experience for everyone. Our waiver process is designed to be completely hassle-free:

• Indicate Your Status: Authors will be asked to simply indicate their funding status during the initial manuscript submission process.
• Automatic Application: If you declare that you do not have funding available to cover publication costs, a full waiver will be applied automatically. Your paper will be processed and published completely free of cost.

Please be assured that our editorial process is strictly separated from financial considerations. All editorial decisions are based exclusively on the scientific merit and quality of the research.
